Valmai Roberts
CLASSICAL BALLET LECTURER

Former member of the Australian Ballet, soloist of Joffrey Ballet and classical ballet lecturer of NYU School of the Arts, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Hispanico in New York, the Victorian College of the Arts in Australia, and London Contemporary School of Dance and Richard Alston Dance Company in Great Britain. ACB Registered Teacher & Examiner, and Classical Ballet Lecturer.

 

Kerrie McArthur
HEAD OF JUNIOR SCHOOL

ACB Examiner - Graduate of Diploma of Art & Dance Teaching. Former Member of Russian Theatrical Society, specialised in International Character Dance. ACB Head of Junior School, Registered Teacher & Examiner in the ACB Training and Assessment Program.

 

Gabrielle Davidson
CLASSICAL BALLET LECTURER

Former Coryphee of the Australian Ballet, graduated with a Diploma of Dance at the Australian Ballet, School, freelance classical ballet teacher. Registered teacher for the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and fully qualified Physiotherapist. Responsible for student injury rehabilitation.

 

Alida Segal
CHARACTER LECTURER

Trained at Moiseyev School in Moscow, former member of the Kolobok Dance Company, sole Australian delegate to the UNESCO symposium on the Preservation and Development of Folk and National Dance in 1986, former Character Dance Lecturer at the Victorian College of the Arts.

 

Brett Daffy
CONTEMPORARY LECTURER

Graduate of Bachelor of Education (Dance, Drama) Victoria College. Worked with Lucy Guerin Performance Group, Chunky Move, Vis-a-vis Dance Canberra, The Australian Choreographic Ensemble, Danceworks and Dance North. Freelance performer, choreographer and lecturer. Currently lecturing at Victorian College of the Arts and Christine Walsh Dance Centre.

 

Barbara Warren-Smith
JAZZ LECTURER

After an extensive performing and choreographing on all television networks, Barbara now concentrates on teaching jazz. She has been invited to teach in Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and Jakarta and is in demand to teach in many Melbourne dance centres. Formerly a dancer and choreographer on all televisions networks.

 

Campbell McKenzie
CLASSICAL BALLET LECTURER

Former Principal Dancer with the Australian Ballet, Royal Ballet Scottish Ballet and London City Ballet. Performed principal roles in musical theatre such as Cats (London) and West Side Story (Melbourne). Campbell was a dance lecturer at Danceworks in London. Campbell is currently teaching Gyrotronics at Studio 165.

 

Adrian Dimitrievitch
CLASSICAL BALLET LECTURER

Former soloist with Teatro Colon in Buenosaires, Munster State Ballet in Munich, Guest Soloist throughout Europe, USA and Australia, Adrian has a wide range of skills as choreographer, ballet coach, gymnastics coach, ballet master and artistic director of the Australian Chamber Ballet and Dimitrievitch Ballet. Adrian is currently the Ballet Master and Choreographer at the National Institute of Circus Arts.

STAGECRAFT LECTURER

Stage Manager, Technical Director and Theatre Manager of Gippsland Cultural Arts Centre

 

David Ashmole A.R.A.D
GUEST TEACHER

Former Principal Dancer with Royal Ballet and the Australian Ballet. David is currently classical ballet lecturer with London Studio Centre.
