It is not often that stars from international ballet companies assemble in the one event!
In July 2009 the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet presented its inaugurual International Ballet Gala. The programme consisted of divertissements and great virtuosity in world famous grand pas de deux's of the classical repertoire in which stars from world renowned international ballet companies including: The Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, English National Ballet and Berlin Staatsoper Ballet headed the dancers of the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet in two highly successful performances The International Ballet Gala reviews:
